Web Service not starting automatically 10.4.6 I manage an xServe for a client that hosts their company web site. Whenever the server gets rebooted, web service WILL NOT start automatically despite the fact that /etc/hostconfig has WEBSERVER=-YES- set. I am able to start it manually and it works just fine when running. Any suggestions?

Have you check the Apache log from Server Admin application to see if there are errors in starting automatically? When you mention starting manually, are you doing it from Server Admin or from command line to start apache?

I'm starting it through Server Admin and it starts fine. My log file has been rotated since the last reboot, so I couldn't tell you what it says. I'll watch it next time.
