| Terminal help please. Hi, I'm tring to connect to the dreamweaver database. I was running XAMPP which gave me alot of problems. so now I'm attempting to run PHP, phpmyadmin and MySQL. (on mac OS X 4) PHP and phpmyadmin are both installed. I have installed MySQL along time ago, and since deleted it. now when i try to install another version of MySLQ (4.1.18) it says: you cannot install, a newer version of this sotware already exists on this volume. How can delete MySQL, MySQL.prepane and the MySQL startupitems compleatly. and start from scratch???? I have tried cd /usr/local ls -l This does not list anything to do MySQL. only PHP. Please help this has been going on for days now. Kind regards Jeff |
