Problems translating Mail 2.07 (os X) to windows

When I send mail with attachments to a hotmail or outlook account, they show up as follows:
The body of the email written until the first attachment
Each subsequent paragraph included as it's own attachment (not part of the body text)
The first attachment included, but no others.

I have the "Always sennd Windows friendly" attachments option selected, but it did nothing to help.

Does anybody know of a fix?

Yes, put the attachements at the end of the message.
