instalation of MacOS X Servera on non Mac Hardware

Is It possible to Install MacOS X server on non Mac hardwer? Is it similar to installation of regular MacOS X on x86 hardwer?
Did somebody try to do it and what was his result? Is it legal to install legal copy of MacOS X Server on non Mac-hardwer.

No and no.
The system requirements are quite clear :
Macintosh server or desktop computer with an Intel or PowerPC G4 or G5 processor
At least 512MB of RAM
At least 10 GB of available disk space.
Built-in FireWire
