Angry Xserve noob--need help with virtual hosts

I have been running an old linux web server for my employer, running apache 2.0 with lots of mod rewrites and lots of virtual hosts being served by the same IP. I'm just getting a brand new xserve up and running, and I haven't found any information regarding migrating from Linux to OS X 10.4.

Based on the reading I have done, it looks like I would need to enter the virtual hosts by way of the Server Admin gui, which creates another *.conf file in the /etc/httpd/sites directory. Then, I assume, I will have to open up each applicable file and copy and paste the rewrite rules to that file.

Here's the problem: I've got well over 200 sites to do this for. That's really tedious and will be a pain to enter manually.

If anyone has any advice for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
