freehand mx problem with server

hi all
I recently installed a mac osx server is the studio
to function only as a file server and make everyone work on it, instead of the personal computer.
problem is that freehand is now opening the save as window even if you just do save or closing window with red dot, but its saving the file even if you cancel the save as window and close the file and press don't save.
i know its an owner issue
if i change the owner of the file to the login user name then its ok
but if the login to the server is not the same as the oner of the file then its a problem.
the problem thus not exists on illustrator and photoshop files
i know i can propagate the username to all the files throw the workgroup manager, but i don't like this solution to match.
can anyone help?
thanks.

Unhappy freehand saving problem on intel server

Great somebody else having same problem.

we have tried all updates still no result.

have found when user "A" creates file on server there is no problem.
when user "B" accesses the same file you can do everything to file but when saving the file - comes up with error "Cannot save this file problem on file server". The file does save changes......

Yes only on freehand files.....
