Hi,

Since a couple of days when I tried to create a new user is my Mac Os X server, the window close inmediatly.

When I come back in my Users windows the user Untitled is created.

Somebody knows why is the cause of this issue.

For create a new user, I create an Alias for the user Unititled, if not i can not create a new users.

Txs for your help!

Could it be that you had started creating a new user and closed WGM without assigning in the attributes? That will create an Untitled user. What UID is it?

Non, I can`t assign the attributes because the windows close inmediatly when I try to type the new name.

When I come back, I can change the user properties and make a ALIAS from Untitled User and change the name.

I can too change another user properties but not create a new user if not the windows close again and put Untitled2.

The user id is : 1041

Two things to look at:

1. Does WGM quit out on any machine that connects to your OD to create a new user? The WGM application (an all Server tools) should be installed fresh on each machine and not just copied.

2. Is your DNS perfect? You need to have appropriate forward and reverse pointers. If not, your OD can be quite toasty and even the administrative tools can be finicky.
