10.4.11 kills ALL printing

With any (!) program on my server, print or even page-setup draws the dreaded beachball.

And ... on a client, with or without 10.4.11, they can print to any visible printer.

Nothing. Not on console.log nor system.log.

I just tried something I should have tried days ago. I logged into the server as another user (Administrator) and printing works! When logged in under my personal account (with administrator privileges), no printing!

OK, so it's a personal problem. What can I try to restore printing?

Depends on how much work

You could

... repair your disk and permissions and reinstall your printer.

... Reset printing (in Printer Setup)

... Delete everything to do with printer and repeat first suggestion

... Download Printer Setup Repair - it never fails. There's a demo; it's not free but it's amazing, all it finds to repair.

... Make a new account and move everything except your printer software, install printer again.

Thanks! That step did it. Another entry for my detail file.
