Temporarily store network logins

Hi, is there a way of making the last few accounts that have logged in to be stored on the client computer temporarily, just incase the server ever went down? There is such a setting in Windows Server 2003, I'm just wondering if Apple has anything that does that.

Thanks

Windows clients automatically cache login details of users who have authenticated against the network. Macs will do the same if you select create a mobile account in the AD settings in Directory Access. I assume you are authenticating against a Windows Domain.
