    Unhappy duplicating jpegs malware virus?

Something is duplicating my images endlessly. i've lost several gigabytes of HD...my image count was way over 70,000.....
how, what, why? Removal is the first goal, then how do i slect the copies from the originals and trash them?
    thanks

It's unlikely that you are suffering from a virus. More likely you have some backup or cloning process erroneously set to backup back to the source drive.

Do you have iDisk Syncing setup? Turn it off and see what happens.
