| System hanging
My system is hanging for about a minute or so. Then it recovers and continues for a while. I suspect that it is a hardware error. I can't find a hardware error log. Nothing is showing up in my system.log except for spam notices from amavis. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to track this down? I'm running Mac OS X Server 10.4 on a Quad PowerPC based Mac.

That might mean it trying to find a disk that is no longer find. Check your startup items to see if something old is there. Plus you can always look ant the /Applications/Utilities/console and see the logs to give you a clue on why it is hanging when it does.
