Netboot broken after OSX 10.6 server upgrade

I have been imaging machines via the network off of our 10.5.8 Server with Netboot for the last year. This morning I finally upgraded to OSX 10.6 Server and now I am getting error messages that I for the life of me cannot figure out.

When I boot off the network with a machine to be imaged I am greeted with an error stating:

"There was an error retrieving the configuration from the location indicated in the Remote Settings, verify that the file exists and that it is readable by everyone".

This was not there pre OSX 10.6 Server upgrade so I decided to check the permissions to the folder and "Everyone" does have read access. I then decided to just start from scratch and resetup NetBoot because I was going to have to upgrade the image in the very near future anyways. Now when I go to NetRestore Helper to create another NetInstall Set I get the following error:

"AppleScript Error ditto: can't get real path for source (1)"

This also used to work pre OSX 10.6.

Anyone have any idea's where I am going wrong or what I need to change?

well I have at least a solution that works for us.

Our Xserve is really only used for Imaging and nothing else. I decided to wipe it out and do a fresh install of OSX 10.6 server. Then I mounted the image I wanted to use and then used the System Image Utility and created a brand new image/.nbi folder (This for some reason didn't work before I did a complete wipe)

Now I understand that this will not work for most people but using a DVD and an external USB HDD to image machines was getting old and I needed to get the network imaging service up and running somehow.

I wish I could have just found an issue but so far I have yet to dig one up.
