Question giant kdc.log - file

hello,

running os x server 10.5. on an imac constantly and without any issues for 2years now.

just found out that my HDD couldnt save any more files so i dug deeper and found out that the kdc.log file increased its size to (buckle up) 200 GIG.

of course it΄s unsafe to remove it, because you have to rewrite it but as i am not such a crack i ask first:

does anyone have a routine to decrease the file size of the kdc.log file?

sincerely.

First off, lose the spam in the signature. It makes it look like you're trying to advertise crap instead of getting real help here. I suspect you're advertising crap and your question isn't really meant to be answered; rather, you're trying to trick people into looking at your crap by posing as someone with a seemingly legitimate question.

Still, I'll bite and answer your query in hopes it will help others with the same question.

So, I am on the 10.5 10-user version and was looking at going to 10.6, but, I see that there is no longer a 10-user edition.
Yep, you see correctly.

Does that mean I need to purchase the FULL unlimited lic edition?
How many different versions of OS X Server did you come across at Apple's online store? Then that's exactly how many versions of Snow Leopard Server you have to choose from.

You did notice how much the Snow Leopard Server unlimited client version is selling for, right? You do know how much Leopard Server unlimited client used to cost, right?

I thought that there were discounts for folks who recently purchased Leopard Server...
You thought wrong. You may be thinking of recent hardware purchases that ship within a short time frame before Apple releases a new version of OS X. Typically they'll be eligible for a free or low-cost upgrade to the most recent version of OS X.

If you bought Leopard Server, you bought Leopard Server. If you want Snow Leopard Server, you must purchase Snow Leopard Server.

And again, lose the spam. No one wants your French spam shoved on them in a forum that's about helping others.

The post I was replying to was removed, probably because it was spam. We've had a lot of that here, lately.
