    Workgroup Manager ACL Problems

    Hi All,

I hope I'm not reposting here, but here goes. I am running a Mac OS X Server 10.4.11 and am having problems adding users/groups from AD into my Sharing Access Control List. I can modify the Owner, and Group fields with no problems, but I need to add more rights via the ACL. When I follow the instructions and click and drag a group or user into the list, then nothing happens. The group/user I dragged just snaps back to the users and group box and no rights are added to the share point.

If there isn't an easy fix for this problem, does anyone know what the command line commands are to do this?

    Thanks

    First problem found, now another

Ok, so I did some checking and realized that I didn't have the Enable access control Lists on this volume checkbox checked on the volume. That's probably why I couldn't add anyone to any of the shares. The problem is that when I check that box on my nfs volume and tell it to save, then it says it can't and reports this error:

    kErrorChangingACLState

Any ideas as to why I can't enable acl's on my nfs volume?

    Thanks
