No sound in G3 B&W - macosx.com

No sound in G3 B&W

I use a G3 B&W, 300 Mhz. There is no sound in 10.1.1 on my G3/300 but when I boot up in 9.2.1 sound plays perfectly. BOoting back into 10.1.1 results in no sound again. I changed nothing, but my sound prefs show no output devices, and iTunes refuses to play at all. .what's the deal here?
