OSX, Internet Explorer, AOL Compatibility?

OSX, Internet Explorer, AOL Compatibility?

I've got a G4 with 832 meg ram, 10 gig HD, OSX 10.1.1 and the new AOL client. I'm also using the airport Base Station's internal modem through Ehternet.

AOL works well on it's own except after I launch Internet Explorer it cant find a connection as it would in OS 9.x. Is this even possible with OSX? If so, how do I make Explorer Or Omni Web or any other web browser work through AOL and OSX with my Airport setup???
