| does connecting to the internet in OS X take a lot longer than OS 9 for any of you? It does for me I thought OS X would be faster... since it is NIX, and the first server was a NeXT box. And macs are cool. I love my cool G4. I love you all. my brothers and sisters.

| I'm on a semi-DSL connection now, but when I had to use dial-up under OS X, it took the same amount of time to dial-up as it did under Mac OS 9. |

| Nope, just about the same speed if not a bit faster, even when I was on dial-up . Check your configurations, you may have missed something. |
