Question Using sound in

I used to use my iPod as a ram free iTunes using the the sound control panel, and sound in. I would play the sound through the sound output. When I got X installed I found that this option is missing. Is it in any upgrade?

No, but it works anyway. Just plug in and you're away, just no way in the system to control volume etc. I think there's a 3rd-party app to do this though - check versiontracker...

Unhappy What??

Huh? That makes no sense, you can just plug in any audio input device and it will play it through the speakers.....I don't think so....but I could be wrong.

Perhaps I misunderstood what you were asking - I thought you were asking about the lack of a 'Sound Input' Pane in the System preferences. My answer was that there isn't one, but that sound in still works, you just have no control over it...

maybe you're talking about Playthru? if so, then there is a third-party app which can help, but its name escapes me.
