Login Start up items

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Applications that I setup in the login screen to launch at startup, only sometimes launch. I thought that it was the freeware or shareware I am using that was having a problem, but I now think it is OS X, the only one to launch consistenty is Drop Drawers.

Is it something I am doing?

Can you please help
