Importing messages into Entourage X

My friend has an iMac with OS X and Office X installed but not OS 9 (ie. she can't use Classic Mode).

She used to use Entourage 2001 and wants me to import all her messages into Entourage X, but all I have is the Office 2001 Indentities folder from her old mac.

Does anyone know how I can import these messages into Entourage X, given that it wants the actual Entourage 2001 executable to be present on the machine in order to import messages from Entourage 2001? Installing Entourage 2001 is not an option as we don't have OS 9 anymore and (so don't have Classic) and can't get access to the installation CDs for OS 9.

The only method of importing messages in Entourage X (that doesn't require the original mail program to be installed) seems to be importing MBOX-formatted text files, but Entourage 2001 doesn't appear able to export messages in this format.

Any and all ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
