RTCW losing sound :( help!

got a powermac g4, 450, 384 ram, os 10.1.4. Rage 128 graphics card.

Playing return to wolf demo, there was not a problem.

Just got the final mac version (its about time!), and during game play, I lose sound.... this does NOT happen when running under OS 9.x

only under 10.1.4..

Any ideas! ????? HELP!

what could be causing it? how can I fix? would a faster graphics card fix it?

system requirements on the box, say 500 mhz processor, Radeon video card (both requirements I do NOT meet).

the game plays fine other than losing sound..

is this a sound card issue? game bug? OS bug?

Ive waited OVER 3 months for the final of this game, and now.... its NOT playing sound... sorry, im pissed!

what happeed to that site? did they can it? why?

I checked.... pm's are ON... and there is a email on my home page... and emails from forums are on... dont know why you could not send.
