| Hi!, I went loking in the core services map and saw 2 findrer ! i donīt know if it excist 2 of them on your computer but in my did it ...and one of the only took 4 kb and the other 6 mb and the small one ...was strange i pressed coomand+I and it stood :"Fake finder 10.0" what do they mean with fake finder hehe:....any way this is the directory: /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder [www:~] mrtenced% /System/Library/CoreServices/

| it's included in every OS X installation, IIRC it has something to do with the classic box...somekind of bridge between the two finders, but I am not perfectly sure, long time since I red about it...

| I believe one is a "dummy" finder because of some Mac's requiring a classic OS 8-9 finder to boot. So it just tells the computer it's a valid finder so it can start booting in OS X. It's been like this since the early developer releases as far as I know. |
