| There are no System Preferences coming up in the System Preferences application Hey there Okay heres the trouble..... I just installed OS X 10.1.3 but there are no System Preferences coming up in the System Preferences application even though the panes are in the preferences Panes.... I cant change any of my settings...eek Any suggestions!? Thanx Jayfree |

| A Workaround I'm not sure how to fix your problem, but here's a workaround that may work: Open the panes from the Finder. Just double-click on the .prefpane files in the Finder, and they should open up in System Preferences. Also, you may want to try deleting the .plist file for System Preferences--it may fix the problem. The file is at: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
