How to edit sound resources in OSX apps?

How do I paste sound resources into an OSX app?

I did this easily with OS9 & before. I just used resource editing tools & cut & paste.

This is not mission critical. Just for fun and games.

What I want to do is use a "You Got Mail" voice sound resource I got years ago from AIM and put into Eudora 4.32 with out problems.
I want to put it into Eudora x in OSX.

I used all my tools and CONTROL click to open pkg contents. I could not find sound resoucres anywhere.

I hope this ease of editing program resources did not disappear with COCCO and Carbon OSX apps.
TIA
