| Sleep Simple question: is OS X able to run it's routine maintance operations while the computer is asleep (lid closed on a titanium), or does it need wide awake? Thanks. |

| No, but as I understand it, it will automatically run them in the background when it wakes up. (From reading the documentation for cron)
