| Word (SP1) doesn't recognise installed font in 10.1.5
Updated Office, everything still worked fine. After upgrade to 10.1.5 Word messing up my documents (strange outline, overlapping letters) when using an installed font (Swift). When changing font to e.g. Arial, everything is OK again. Strange thing about this is when I print to PDF (osx built-in) the messed up doc, it appears OK. Seems that 10.1.5 with SP1 is not capable of displaying the font correctly. Does anyone have a clue how to solve this? I tried reinstalling the font, but that did not sole the problem. Thanks, Martijn

I have a similar problem. MS Office X (latest) will not print arial font when logged in as user. It will print this font no problem when I am logged in as root. I could sure use a suggestion for a fix. thanks Murray |

I fixed my problem with arial font. Somehow there were 5 arial fonts in my user's font folder that showed up as documents instead of FFIL's. As soon as I trashed these I was able to print using the original Arial font. This also fixed a problem I had printing to a PDF from FileMaker (I think because the document that filemaker was trying to print contained the Arial font.) Hopefully this info will help someone.
