Question trying to get my fonts to work...and failing miserably!

    hi there,
can someone help me out? i'm trying to install some new fonts, but i can only get them to work in photoshop. adobe has a handy folder for that.
i also have freehand ten (osx native) but no matter what folder i put the fonts in, i can't open them in freehand.
same thing for quark xpress (classic mode).
it's getting pretty frustrating. hope someone can shed some light on this problem.
    thanx

    location/adobe

Well, you probably know anyway that, under OS X, fonts belong in /Library/Fonts or ~/Library/Fonts.
Perhaps they are specific fonts that only work with Adobe products ? Try using them in AppleWorks or Word...
