Desktop module not showing up

Sorry if this has been asked before... I've just installed v. 10.0.4, and the Desktop module is missing from the System Preferences. It's nowhere to be found when I search the disk. Not a show-stopper, but still annoying. Any thoughts? (I'll upgrade to 10.1 when my company decides to shell out the $120 for it, which won't be terribly soon...)

Thanks,
Devi
