Mount G4 hardrive on powerbook

I don't have a keyboard for a G4 tower. Is there any way I can control it using my powerbook? Running tiger on the laptop but the machines aren't networked so can't use remote desktop yet.

If they're not networked, you can't control it.

You can use any PC USB keyboard, btw. - But for installing and setting up remote control software like ARD or VNC, you'll have to first use that G4 with a keyboard.

shouldnt osx have an onscreen keyboard for accessability like windows does? I vaguely remember seeing one but couldnt get it to work. though the problem was deleted input interface files, so that shouldnt be shocking...
