Disappering items from menu bar under 10.2

Hi All,

When I install Now utilities and Stuffit under 10.2 they place these nice menus in the menu bar.
Which disappears never come back just after installing.
I had to install Stuffit 6 times on my TiBook in order to keep it there. Now, on my new G4 Desktop I have the same problem.

Second question, how do I add items to the menu bar ?

End last question, can you move the items in the menu bar, swap things arround etc. ?

I thought I was going crazy! I'm having the same problem under 10.2, with iData Pro. The "Help" item on the menu keeps vanishing. I've contacted their support but it now seems that this is an Apple problem.

Anybody else seeing this?

arrogance) because menu extras should only be reserved for
hardware-related things (funny, since iChat isn't hardware-related).
