Networking OSX with 9.2.2 machines?

Networking OSX with 9.2.2 machines?

I have problems getting an OS X 10.1.5 machine to network with other machines running 9.2.2. Is there any place where I can find step by step instructions for setting up a OS X machine on a network? Thanks!
