twelve is on a distinguished road
screen capture now converts to pdf?

please help.

in jaguar when i do a screen capture it converts into a pdf document instead of picture (image) like i am used to. does anyone know what is going on here, or more importantly how can i make the screen capture command an image capture?

There's a prefpane called TinkerTool which lets you specify fileformat for them pictures...also it let's you do some other stuff
I am not sure if it works with Jaguar, but the developer is working on it.

YEa, that bugs me too, but the Tinkertool i have, was kinda rushed, Just to be out alongside Jaguar, it's not as Complete as the 10.1.x versions, but hey! ... 'in good time'

TinkerTool cannot change screen capture format in Jaguar. However, what you can do is open the .pdf file in Preview, and then choose Export from the File menu. You then will have a choice of formats to export as, including .jpg.

...Great minds think alike! .... thats what i've been doing since Jaguar was installed!

Did you all know about the Apple + Shift + 4 ... then hitting space improvement?! you can get it to take a Shot of a specific Window, Dock, or Finder Bar ... even works for Minimize in Place Window Thumbnails! LOL!
