    Image Capture...How Does It Work?!?!

I have a Canon 630Ui scanner. How can I get this to work with Image Capture? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Image capture is for use with digital cameras, not scanners. As far as I know, scanner support under OS X is left up to the scanner manufacturer to deal with.

Not correct. ImageCapture does support some scanners and will support more in Mac OS X 10.2.1. But the Canon scanners aren't supported by now.

There's a Photoshop Plugin you can download at Canon's site. Or just use http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx and look for Canon there.

If, however, you don't have Photoshop, there's - right now - only VueScan, which you can use for free for some time, if I'm correct. Or at least you can test whether it works.

Fryke, I've searched for this plug-in but I can't find it.
    Is for Mac OS X?
Can U tell me where I can download it?

Searching VersionTracker for 'canon' reveals several objects, for example: http://www.versiontracker.com/morein...d=14167&db=mac

Canon ScanGear 7 for some Canon scanners.
