When I hit the Eject key the SuperDrive ejects - which bugs me, I want the ComboDrive to eject instead.
I guess I can set the jumpers to force master/slave (vs cable select as it's set now)...

    That reminds me!

Does anyone make eject-only key(s)? Like an inline PowerKey some company had made for the newer Macs who's keyboards dont have a power button. It would be cool to have a similar thing to eject the CD Drives (2 keys for the Dual Optical systems).

Hmmm... I'm almost willing to talk my boss into buying a USB keypad if I can program it (hot keys?) to do certain things, like open a specific drive. Anyone know if this is possible?

I have an apple pro keyboard with one eject button. I recently bought a firewire external cd writer.

Heres a nifty trick that Keyboard Maestro ( http://www.KeyboardMaestro.com )it has a system command that ejects the cd drive tray.

The cool thing is the eject key on my keyboard works (only) with the internal drive and the shortcut (one of the F# buttons) ejects the tray on the external writer!

Perfect. Also that menu extra doesn't detect my external drive - stupid.

Anyway Keyboard Maestro is wicked!! go get it...

Works fine but doesn't detect my external USB burner. So it's pretty useless, since I can just press F12 and it'll eject my internal drive anyways.
If it's a penny for your thoughts and you always put your two cents worth in, who's getting all these extra pennies?!
