Force a file to use a certain app to launch in?

I use Firefox for 99% of all web usage but I've got one particular HTML file that I need to have open in Safari whenever I open it. It's a file that's saved on my machine that I need to open occasionally but since Firefox is set as my default browser, it uses it to open it. I've tried doing "Get Info" and then changing what it opens with but whenever I log out it just reverts back to Firefox. Is there a way to force it to stay on Safari?

You could try changing the HTML file's creator to sfri to force it to open with Safari.

I use a shareware utility called x-ray for this sort of thing but there must be lots of others out there.

X-ray is at this URL if you are interested:

Hope that helps.
