Cannot Delete Or Accept New Invitations From Ical

I have iCal at home and work on two different Macs. When I am sent an invitation from the Mac at home to work, it shows up in iCal as a notification but it is greyed out. When I attempt to select it to either accept or delete it, I cannot.
