    remote desktop (mac-> linux [fedora])

    Hi... Is there any software for osx which allows you to remotely login into a a linux box? I have a workstation with redhat fedora installed and would like to login into the box from my mac. I'm looking for some sort of software similar to remote desktop by microsoft but going from osx to linux instead of
    osx to windows. TIA

    Sounds like you need VNC.

    Run the VNC server from the Linux box... I found numerous articles about configuring the VNC server part on Linux from Google:
    http://www.google.com/search?client=...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

    Then, use a VNC client on your Mac to connect:

    People seem to like ChickenOfTheVNC, but it comes down to your preference.

    Hope that helps!
