Quitting Safari 2 And Weather Widget

I've installed tiger for the 2nd time, but this time safari works bad, almost immediately quit when I try to type something on a search box also in apple.com site, moreover the bug report quit also when I try to type on it. Weather widget same story when I try to change location and when I try to type on bug report. The system is up to date, I know it's ibook G3 900mhz 640 MB ram but panther 10.3.9 was much more stable and I think faster than tiger. I feel I did a bad choice to switch to tiger.
