Files Disappear!?!?

This is the most frustrating problem I have ever encountered

I've been trying to export video from QuickTime Pro, Final Cut HD and EVERY time the export is finished the file disappears!?!?!

DELETED, GONE, BYBY, finder doesn't find anything.

Why is this happening!?!?!?!
