Quicktime 7.0.1 Pro With 3gp

anyone knows why it's not playing the 3gp files? it plays a black image and does play the sound, but the video is just black all the time. any help please!?? i'm running a osx 10.3.9, qt version 7.0.1 pro

I don't think QuickTime can play .3gp format. You can use it to convert .3gp to an .avi format that it likes though. Here is a web site that tells you exactly how and tells you a little about .3gp format as well.
