| CD burning my computer will burn music CD's via itunes, but when I try and burn a data CD using the built-in burning functionality in jaguar, I get an unexpected error message (error code 6). I know it's not hardware, does anyone have any ideas? |

| I used to get frequent error codes while trying to burn data CDs. What works for me is to use Disk Copy to create a disk image of the data I want to burn, and then tell DC to burn the new image.

| Just a very general thing With the introduction of MacOS X all (rather: much) is about privileges. Often things don't work beause of privilege violations. Go to Applications > Utilities and open Disk Utility. There go to "Repair Privileges". I know, it's a wild guess but it might help. |
