miller134 is on a distinguished road
Webdav for users folders on OS X server

We have an Xserve running OS X (10.4). Currently all users registered with the LDAP server have access to a single shared WebDAV folder. We would like to have user specific folders accessible via WebDAV similar to FTP.

Is it possible to enable WebDAV access for the user website folders: ("http://mydomain.ca/~useraccount" located at "/Users/useraccount/Sites/")

we currently only have WebDAV access at the default webfolder location: ("http://mydomain.ca" located at "/Library/WebServer/Documents/")

Sure. Follow the instructions in this document:

The document is a bit old, but the method still works.
