Yahoo Games clarity and speed

Why is it that when I'm on the internet in Classic OS I have no problems in Yahoo games like Literati, but when I'm in X, the operation is very slow, sluggish and the print is tiny and hard to read?

If you are using IE try this:

Go to menu/Exlorer/Preferences/Interface Extras/ and uncheck "Enable Quartz text smoothing"

I have had some problems with redraw and it seems to have been the answer.

I can't say this will fix the text size issue but may help with the game being sluggish.
