15" Powerbook G4 Display Problem

Hi All,

i have 15" PB G4 running 104.2. The laptop is 4 years old and is of 1 GHz . Very rarely back few months , suddenly lines aprear on the rear edges of images and other spaces. this problem was removed when you reboot it. But this week, this problem is getting so wiered. The picture is so detirioated and disturbed. All edges are full of lines specially all dark colors are doing this. I herd there can be a firmware update for this ( it doesnt seems to be hardware issue, as when you Grab the screem , it do shoes those lines in the picture). I have seen other questions on MACOSX.com like this, if any one have found any solution please let me know.
