E-mail Problems

I know this topic is not new but I have not seen a successful fix for it yet. I use Office 2004 and wanted to use Entourage for compatibility with Outlook users.

I have 2 business e-mail accounts that I originally had set up as one on Apple Mail and one on Entourage. I decided to try both on Entourage (both are IMAP accounts) and initially it appeared all was well.

When my first attachment arrived (Word doc) the file was not usable. Every subsequent attachment of a jpg, doc, or pdf format (all I've tried so far) has been corrupted.

Is there any fix for this issue?
