Does Mac Os X Location Manager Change Proxies In Firefox?

Does Firefox respect the proxy settings in Mac OS X's Location manager within System Preferences?

I have configured two different locations, and for the ethernet section of each I've specified web proxies. However, I can't tell from Firefox's preferences window whether it is recognising the change of location. I'd like to confirm or eliminate this as a possible cause of some network access problems!

Thanks,

Kendall
