Strange Quicktime Problem...

Hey guys,

I have a few software tutorial cds which I purchased from Digital Tutors over the last few months. They play fine in quicktime, except every time and I stop and start the tutorial or try to move to another part of the movie, quicktime struggles and I just get the spinning colour wheel thing for a few minutes before it eventually starts playing it correctly again. I checked in my Activity Monitor and each time I perform something like this the CPU goes crazy and quicktime player displays that it has "hung" only to start working again a few minutes later.

Has anybody else had any similar experiences with some of the movie CDs and is there a workaround?
