Virtual Pc, Ms Server 2003 And Keyboard Functions

I'm running VPC7 on my 12" APB, and it runs XP Pro fine. My problem is that I can't get into Server 2003, it appeared to install correctly, because it asks for me to type ctrl+alt+del, and whatever I'm typing must not mean the same thing in windows, or something. I was thinking it was because I have the laptop keyboard, but maybe it was a bad install or something. any ideas? everywhere ive looked people say that server 2003 runs with VPC7.
