When I follow the procedure described in the Mac Help to change my Account photo to something other than a butterfly or cat, the little picture next to the edit button changes but the picture in my account id does not. When I exit System Prefs, everything reverts.
(17" powerbook 1.67 GHz G4..., running Os X 10.4.2)
