IE cookie problems

My IE (5.2.2 on 10.2.1) cookies are somehow screwed.

I've tried reinstalling IE, dumping the prefs, reinstalling again...
(Where the hell are the cookies kept under IE/OSX anyway??)

Typical behavior goes like this:
I'll try to post under one of these forums, it'll let me login,
type out a post (my member name there at the top and all),
then when I submit, it asks me to login again. Oddly enough
it works here, but a similar site running same vBulletin Forums,
cookies break the login.

My .mac account treats me the same way.

What gives!? How can I fix this? Dump IE all together?

You can try opening IE preferences, go to the Cookies tab (under recieving files) and select all the cookies, then click delete.

this is happening to me but it used to not happen. Also, my whole office at work is experiencing the same thing. Ever since about two weeks ago cookie problems seemed to have emerged. Is this a bug? Is the only way to fix this to use a different browser?

Moved from the Mac OS X System and Software section -- since it deals with Internet Explorer ( a 'net app)

Have fun!
